This was the most inspiring and fascinating focus with The Arts and Altzheimers. I truly believe all that was expressed in this passionate presentation. I am an Art Therapist for years and truly know its value firsthand and always get excited when Art and Art Therapy are recognized and valued. I especially like the point that these are humans and not “patients.” Truly interesting film.

This documentary gives a fresh new approach on understanding and approaching Alzheimer’s disease. For someone who hears from the main stream media mostly about the (negative) effects of Alzheimer’s and the statistics surrounding it, it is encouraging to know that there are people out there who are actively involved in learning about this terrible disease, and give us hope that its effects will be diminished with the right treatment! I Highly recommend to watch it! Bravo to Berna Huebner and Eric Ellena!
