Using images and film excerpts that vividly document their work, panelists will demonstrate both active (creating) and passive (listening, viewing) music and art approaches to revitalizing function in people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia, as well as those who have sustained a brain injury or survived a stroke. Programs designed and led by neurologists, therapists, artists, researchers, and arts educators will be represented in this moving overview.
